Towards the ending of the book Full Frontal Feminism, Jessica Valenti disscused: appearances, traditional gender roles, men on feminism and general beauty. To my surprise I learned a great deal about Feminism. Throughout this chunk I learned that men can be feminist also. But their are some women feminists who think that the movement needs to be woman-centered. Jessica stated on page 192 " They thinkthat women need a word all on their own, and that only someone who experiences life as a woman can truly understand feminism." I found that pretty interesting. I remember one of the first question I posted on the blog was "What about being a Feminist scares men? Because in the defintion provided being a Feminist is simply easy and welcoming." And now to know that their are actually men who consider them selves "pro-feminst". Is an eye-opener. Throughout the last pages in the book she summarizes the different chapters into categories. These topics include: Sex , Pop culture, Reproductive Rights, Violence, etc. She later ends the book with spreading the word about Feminism.
Tone: Satirical, Humerous
